okay rant about “fictives being attached/like their source is anti recovery” and why it’s bullshit.

 Not everyone is out of an abusive situation. 

You need to remember WHY fictives form, it’s because the brain thinks that the character’s personality, traits, etc, would be helpful to protect/help the body survive, you can’t force alters to seperate from their source if they are attached cause it HELPS in the current situation. 

We have an Aziraphale fictive who is very attached to his source and he protects us when we attend our Christian school. He is not as disturbed as a lot of us because of who he is in source, and it helps keep us under control. End of story.

 P.S; a lot of systems don’t want final fusion, and instead are going for functional multiplicity. Don’t forget that
